The mixture is fully soluble in water and is to be used in accordance with the prescribed dosage in one injection, avoiding any repeated penetration. Do not store the unused Zinc solution in opened container; throw all the rest of the medicine right after completing its admixture.
Note, that direct intravenous or intramuscular injections of Zinc 1 mg/ml may cause strongly irritate the tissues. More than that this drug contains aluminum, which may be toxic. It may be very dangerous if having any kidney disorder, especially for premature neonates. Aluminum may be toxic for the cell of nervous system and bones. Speak to your doctor because even lower rates of administration could not assure absence of tissue loading.
You may also not be allowed to use Zinc when being or planning to become pregnant or while nursing a baby. The medicament could be prescribed in case of strong necessity or changed with the other analogous drug.
